Black Pig
From Aug 2006 to Feb 2008 I worked at a local new media agency called black pig as a Senior web developer. Below are some of the sites i worked on.
Open Learn
As part of a contract I worked on the open learn project using moodle.
Ad Trader
Ad trader and many of it's partner website's are developed by a small group of designers. Within this team my role is senior php developer and i am responsible for the daily maintenance and development of the groups site including new area of the site and the vast backend systems to vet new adverts placed on the website.
Cromwell Business Systems
The following 9 sites have all been developed as part of a team of 4 developers / designers between August 2004 and October 2005. They are all built using a single codebase and use advanced database connectivity.

Open University - Contract - (May 2006 - August 2006)
Working on the Open Learn project (http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/) on a 4 month contract I played a part in creating an XML schema to be used in building course material and modified a version of moodle (http://moodle.org/) to suit the projects needs using PHP & MySQL.

Interests and activities
Landscape photography, examples of which can be viewed at www.jbrim.co.uk Owning and restoration of a 1962 Volkswagen split screen camper with which I attend events and social meetings. I am also an active member of the Split Screen Van Club VW owners clubs and a keen surfer.
